Hello! I'm Violet, but most people call me vee.
This is my place to share all the photographs I've taken of all the beautiful & serene places I've visited, alongside anything interesting I've seen along the way! I also have a few prints available for you to buy in my shop!

My photography interest primarily focuses on landscapes, scenery & floral macro photography but I also really enjoy capturing historical ruins too.

I try to keep my photo editing to minimum, only bringing out the natural features that caught my eye in the first place - I prefer scene over style! Have you looked outside recently? It's wonderful without camera trickery!
I have always enjoyed going out for walks & exploring new places, so this hobby perfectly combined with photography! I love a variety of scenery - I'm happy trudging up high mountains or sticking to quiet footpaths on lower ground, as long as the place is nice to look at I'm happy!

I am lucky to have lived in the Lake District my whole life & to have such a vibrant area on my doorstep. There's so much to see in this wonderful county that I have a list of places to visit that is never ending! From fell tops, waterfalls, forestry to open fields, I want to explore every nook!
I started this website in 2016 & I'm frankly amazed it is going today, it wouldn't be without my family supporting my hobby & all the wonderful feedback I receive online about my work & website!

It is incredible to see how much my work has improved over time, but now these years on too I can use this website to document how all these places I know & love have changed over time. I have a constantly changing landscape as my playground, & I can't wait to get out & share what I find with you all!
