ABOUT THE IMAGE
Taken September 2021 at Ennerdale Water, Cumbria
My first experience of Ennerdale Water was one of two halves; deciding to walk along the Northernly side first this side was a beautiful walk wandering along the shore or the edge of thick trees. But once we crossed over to the other side, the majority of the paths were flowing with water rolling down the fells, with some really deep bits we had no choice but to wade through. This picture is taken after climbing up to dry land, the view perfectly framed to make me forget my soggy feet for a moment as I basked in its glory.
